Polyester fiber and painted resin casts of dinosaur teeth and claws.

This is an interactive art installation. Please feel free to mark the fabric with a dinosaur tooth or claw. With care, you can make your art by working with the direction of the fabric fibres.

The casts are fossils from Tyrannosaurus Rex, Megalosaurus, Nanotyrannus, Baryonyx, Dromaeosaurus Albertensis, and Velociraptor. The fabric is made from age old petroleum. Marks on a fabric are delicate and can be erased by a simple movement of the hand. They question of the fragility of our world’s existence in regards to geologic eras. There is a confrontation between the juxtapositions: natural and artificial, soft and brutal, modernity and Mesozoic, modern conveniences and nature’s fragility.

Solar silicon wafers, frames

with SolarWorld

The blue material is a photovoltaic polycrystalline silicium wafer. To get it, the lab had to halt the production line of solar panels of which the latter crystal is the main component.
